Free Driver Network Membership
Interested independent drivers can request free membership while the 608 Transit team reviews documentation, training and qualification evidence.
Two separate statuses
Approved transportation driver
After identity, license, insurance, vehicle condition, background check, required training and manual review are verified, 608 Transit may separately activate passenger assignments. No driver is advertised as available before those checks pass.
Join the free driver network
Free network membership is an application, not passenger-service approval. First-time applicants should use the existing secure 608 Transit driver application. A team representative reviews the request and contacts you about next steps. You do not need to submit a second application if you already applied.
Applicants pending review may receive an individual secure training-account invitation only after their identity and membership link are provisioned. The application form does not immediately create login credentials, dispatch access or guarantee work.
